1. Who we are
Foundation Tech is a sole proprietorship operated by Kyle. This policy explains how Foundation Tech handles information collected through usefoundationtech.com and its demo, support and service communications. Contact: kyle@usefoundationtech.com.
This policy covers Foundation Tech’s own business website and communications. Customer-specific employee systems, including Tailwaggers’ WagVault, have their own applicable privacy arrangements; this website’s SMS opt-in does not enroll anyone in a client’s messaging program.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, business name, email, team size, inquiry and optional mobile number. If you opt in to SMS, we also retain your consent choice and information about when and how you gave it, including the form and disclosure version.
Our hosting and form providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, browser details and timestamps to deliver the website, receive submissions and prevent abuse. Please do not include sensitive employee, customer, health or financial information in the inquiry form.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange requested demos, provide support, communicate about Foundation Tech services or accounts, keep consent and opt-out records, and maintain the security and reliability of our services.
We use a mobile number for SMS only when the recipient has opted in to the relevant Foundation Tech messaging program. Providing a number by itself is not consent.
4. Mobile numbers and SMS consent
Foundation Tech does not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may receive this information only as needed to provide and support the messaging service, subject to restrictions on its use.
Our SMS program concerns your requested demos, support requests and Foundation Tech service or account updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms.
Opting out of texts does not prevent you from contacting us by email or requesting a demo. We may retain a minimal opt-out record to respect your choice.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We use providers to host the website, process and store form submissions, deliver business email and, when enabled, provide messaging. They may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to applicable agreements and restrictions. The website’s contact form is configured for Netlify Forms; messaging is intended to use Twilio when the program is activated.
We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or the security of our services. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The restrictions on mobile numbers and SMS consent in Section 4 apply to all marketing and promotional sharing.
6. Cookies and external links
This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Hosting and abuse-prevention services may use technical measures necessary to deliver and protect the site.
If you choose to open a Google Calendar booking link or another external service, that provider’s privacy practices apply on its website. A booking does not independently enroll you in Foundation Tech text messages.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, provide requested services, maintain consent or opt-out records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where practical.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices
You may contact kyle@usefoundationtech.com to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to ask questions about this policy. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required or permitted by law. Rights vary by where you live.
To stop SMS, reply STOP to a Foundation Tech message. You may also email us for help with your preferences. Our website and messaging program are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as the business or its services change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes to the SMS program require appropriate notice and, when needed, new consent. Questions can be sent to kyle@usefoundationtech.com.
